Furniture manufacturer implements ERP, WMS, and BI with EU funding

The company was losing visibility over raw materials, production orders, and warehouse movements. The EU project required measurable operational results.

The challenge

The manufacturer was working with 4 separate Excel files for raw materials, production orders, warehouse inventory, and sales — with no automatic synchronization between them. Cost of production was calculated manually at month end. The EU programme required measurable KPIs demonstrating operational efficiency improvements.

The solution

We implemented ERP for production orders and financial management, WMS for structured warehouse operations with FIFO strategy and barcode scanning, and BI for operational KPI dashboards. All three systems share an integrated environment.

Timeline

14 weeks from discovery to go-live

Delivery process

  1. 1

    Discovery (2 weeks)

Mapping of the production process, warehouse structure, and EU programme KPI requirements.

  2. 2

    Migration (3 weeks)

Import of product catalog, raw materials, supplier data, and opening warehouse stock.

  3. 3

    Configuration (6 weeks)

ERP production orders and recipes, WMS zones and FIFO strategy, BI dashboards for EU KPIs.

  4. 4

    Training and go-live (3 weeks)

Training for warehouse, production, and finance teams. Parallel run before full cutover.

Outcomes

  • Unified real-time visibility over raw materials, production, and finished goods
  • Reduction in discrepancies between physical and system warehouse stock
  • Automatic cost of production per production order
  • BI dashboards with EU KPIs for operational efficiency, available for verification
  • Successful presentation of measurable results to the managing authority
